"Case 39" centers on an idealistic social worker who saves an abused 10 year old girl from her parents only to discover that the girl is not as innocent as she thinks.
In my opinion, this movie was total chiche in most of the scenes therefore not being frightening at all. I think that the choice of actors didn't help as Jodelle Ferland look kind of irritating and Renée Zellweger kept the same facial expression throughout the entire movie. Although I think this movie had a different concept and chose to make a story that wasn't too "used" I do believe that Christian Alvart could do a much better job.
I'll give it 2 out of 10 stars.
